Formed in 2003 by accordionist Becky Price, Boldwood explores the repertoire of tunes from 17th and 18th century English collections. The band specialises in bringing to life neglected gems in concert or on the dance floor. Their unique sound is a result of lush, almost orchestral arrangements, combined with energetic, imaginative, spontaneous playing. The new album,“Glory of the West”, will be released in the spring.
